Privacy Policy

Placeholder text for the owner to review. This is a plain-language starting draft, not legal advice. Have it reviewed, and update it to match the analytics and ad tools you actually switch on (and the rules for your visitors' regions) before launch.

What this site does with your data

CopyCute does not ask you to create an account and does not ask for your name or email address. When you tap a symbol, the copy happens in your browser. The text you type into the font generator and the bio maker is processed in your browser and is not sent to our server by those tools.

Your browser storage

The image to dot art tool reads the picture you choose and converts it in your browser. The picture and the result are not sent to a server by this site. The username, bio and font tools also run in your browser.

The tray at the bottom of the screen keeps the symbols you picked in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back. This stays on your device. You can clear it with the Clear button or by clearing your browser data.

Analytics and advertising

At the time of writing, analytics and advertising are switched off. If analytics is turned on, we use it to count visits and see which pages are useful, for example Cloudflare Web Analytics or Google Analytics. If advertising is turned on, ad partners such as Google AdSense may use cookies to show and measure ads. Owner: update this paragraph to name exactly the tools you enable, and add a consent banner if you serve visitors in regions that require one.

Hosting

The site is served as static pages. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

Children

CopyCute is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
